Pick Up Locations
For cross country day bus trips
For your convenience, each day bus trip has two (or more) pick-up locations. Please park your car in the areas specified below. Valuables should be hidden and locked away. The Out of Control Ski club is not responsible for loss or damage to your vehicle.
1st Pick-up Location (all destinations)
Crossgates Mall New Parking Lot
All buses depart at 7 am from Crossgates Mall. Departing the Mountain at 4:30 pm
2nd Pick-up Locations
Important information regarding 2nd pick-up locations:- Note that the second pick-up location will vary depending on the trip destination. Please refer to the downhill bus trip schedule to find out what the second pick-up location will be for any given trip.
- Also note that the departure times at the 2nd pick-up location will vary. Passengers catching the bus at the 2nd pick-up location should plan to be there at least 15 minutes before bus is expected to arrive. Buses will leave promptly.
Bus picks up passengers in the parking lot near Panera’s located in the Malta Commons Business Park at the intersection of I-87 and Hwy 67.
Typical arrival is 15 minutes after the bus departs Albany.
This is the 2nd pick-up location for most northbound destinations including, but not limited to:
Mt. Van Hovenberg, Garnet Hill, and Mountain Top.
Bus picks up passengers in the Walmart Plaza overflow lot (located in the middle of the shopping center).
Typical arrival is 15 minutes after the bus departs Albany.
This is the 2nd pick-up location for most eastbound destinations including, but not limited to:
Prospect, Viking Nordic Center, and Notchview.
Bus picks up at the Park & Ride lot located near the intersection of Route 5 and I-890 in Scotia. Access the parking lot via Route 5 at Van Buren Lane. See map below for directions.
Typical arrival is 15 minutes after the bus departs Albany.
This is the 2nd pick-up location for most westbound destinations including, but not limited to:
Lapland Lake and Osceola.
Buying an Ikon or Epic Pass?
The OC SKI CLUB would like to offer our members the opportunity to purchase the Ikon and/or Epic passes through the OC via Ski.com.
Using the link below you will be awarded a $30/$50 (base / plus) land package credit off of any one (1) of the trips we run through Ski.com for each pass.
Current pricing (base or local / Plus):
Ikon Pass is $879 / $1,169 and Epic Pass is $676 / $909 for members of a ski club (under the Ski.com program).
- From the information on the 2 websites, it appears as if the IKON Pass has a deadline of September 1 to purchase.
- There are many, many options to choose from with Epic… read and choose carefully.
- It is your responsibility to notify your trip leader that you have purchased a pass thru this program so that it can be noted on your registration to apply the credit towards your trip(s)

3rd Pick-up Locations
Occasionally a third pick-up location will be offered for westbound and northbound cross country bus trips. Please refer to the cross country bus trip schedule to find out whether a third pick-up location will be offered for any given trip.
Passengers catching the bus at the 3rd pick-up location should plan to be there at least 15 minutes before bus is expected to arrive. Buses will leave promptly once the passengers and equipment are loaded.

Bus picks up at the Park & Ride lot located near the intersection of Route 30 and I-90 in Amsterdam. Access the parking lot via Route 30.
Typical arrival is 20 minutes after the bus departs Albany.
This is the 3rd pick-up location for most westbound cross country destinations including, but not limited to:
Lapland Lake and Osceola.
Bus picks up in front of the Warren County Municipal Center located on Rt 9 (north) from the Northway Exit 20.
Typical arrival is 35 minutes after the bus departs Albany.
3rd pick-up location for northbound cross country destinations including, but not limited to:
Mt. Van Hovenberg, Garnet Hill, and Mountain Top.
