OC Summer Volleyball League
How Our League Works
- League play runs every Monday and Tuesday night from May to September.
- USA Volleyball rules are in effect with some exceptions (i.e., we will not be using the indoor net rules).
- All players must be OC members in good standing (i.e. membership is up-to-date). Substitute players are allowed, however players that have not paid OC membership fees must pay a guest fee of $5 and sign an insurance waiver for each night of play. All subs must be 18 years of age or older to play. Proof of age is required.
League Format
Competitive Co-ed 4’s
Two teams per net, with a minimum of one female and one male on court at all times. Alternate height of the net each week.
Competitive and Recreational 6’s
Two teams per net, with a minimum of one female on court at all times.

- Online registration will open April 4 and will remain open until each league is full

Participants must be active members of the OC Ski Club and over the age of 18. You may join as a new member or renew your membership via our online membership pages. However, the league fills up fast, so you are strongly encouraged to renew your membership ASAP.
Clean-up Day is
Saturday May 11 @ 10 AM
- Every team must have at least 1 person present on one of the two days.
League Play Begins: May 13th & 14th @ 6 PM
Location
All league games are played at the Polish Community Center in Albany.
Volleyball Registration
Please read the following information carefully before proceeding.
- Online team registration opens on Thursday, April 4 and will remain open until leagues are full.
- Online registration ONLY.
- Each player must pay their 2024-2025 membership dues BEFORE team registrations are confirmed. Player eligibility will be verified by the Membership Committee, so team captains are encouraged to verify with their team members that they have paid their membership dues. NOTE: Membership dues are paid once but players are welcome to play on more than one night.
- Team registration is on a first-come, first-served basis and are only confirmed once all the required forms and payments have been received and the team roster has been confirmed by the Membership Committee.
- All players must be at least 18 years of age. Proof of age is required.
- League coordinators will send registration confirmations directly to team captains. If you have any questions, please get in touch with the Volleyball League Committee.

Want to play in the OC Volleyball League?
To be eligible for participation in the OC Volleyball League, all team players must be either current members or join as new members of the OC Ski Club. Player eligibility will be verified by the Membership Committee prior to confirmation of your team’s registration, so all players are strongly encouraged to renew or apply for membership as soon as possible to avoid delaying or jeopardizing your team’s registration.

- Enter your last name and Membership #. (Membership number is not a required field. The search is faster and more accurate with the number but will work w/o).
- Returning MEMBERS: If you are a returning member you should find your name and status on the search results page. Your level of membership and membership number are on the 2nd
- Click on the box with your name and the PayPal options will be at the bottom of the page.
- New Players: If you are new to OC Volleyball you will register as a new Member. Your date of birth is required at registration AND you must provide the Volleyball League Committee with a copy of your driver’s license by the first night of play.
