Trip Included: One week stay with Double Occupancy – 2 Queens, airfare, ground transportation

202540 intrepid adventurer OC skiers signed up for the ultimate ski escape – the Highline Vail resort in legendary Vail, Colorado. The hotel was extremely accommodating from start to finish. The shuttle service was the most convenient I have experienced, with a very short ride to all of the Vail base areas. The mountain itself was not disappointing. Although we didn’t experience very much “Colorado powder,” the terrain lived up to its reputation, from the Game Creek Bowl to the back bowls (Sun-Up, China, Siberia) and everybody’s favorite, the Blue Sky Basin. And that is just the back of the mountain! The place is huge. A lot of our fellow travelers took one of the mountain tours (front side, back bowls and Blue Sky Basin). On top of all that, there was a free bus to Beaver Creek, just a short trip down the road. I think most of the group took advantage of the chance to experience another epic “EPIC” mountain. I want to give a shout out to the great group of people we had on this trip. As a many-time trip leader, I have never had a better group. Lots of people stepped up to make my job easier. Thank you all for all of the effort that was shared by many.(I would mention names, but that would take up my whole article.)Another shout out goes to Lynda Heaney and the great OC organization that makes this and many other trips possible. Personally, I would go on this trip if we did it again. I would recommend any one of you to lead the trip.
