Ski Club Member Appreciation Days

As an OC Ski Club member, you have access to special discounts on lift tickets at many local ski areas.  Most will require you purchase the lift ticket online prior to your visit.  You must show a Club membership card and photo ID.  Usually, it is one lift ticket per membership card.  If you have a child (age 0 to 17 yrs), you can purchase an OC Junior ID card $6 from Membership.  Ask for a Ski Council sticker or stop by the Alpine/Nordic bus table to get stickers for all your membership cards.

Note: you don’t need to ride an OC bus to get these discounts and actually we are not running buses on many of these dates.  However, if we run a bus and you have a guest on that bus, we do supply to the guest a one day membership card so they can get the discount for that day.  These cards are only available on the bus.  The Guest returns the card at the end of the day to the bus leader.

Many mountains use RFID cards and each is unique to that mountain.  The good news is they are good from season to season and are reloadable.  Keep those cards in your boot bag for reloading. If you lose it, most mountains charge $5 for a replacement.

The following are available to us.  As more dates from mountains are submitted to us, I will post them here.  Be sure to read the fine print as each mountain has different rules.

Bromley Mt, Vermont

Bromley is offering a one time deal for lift tickets.  Deal ends Dec 1, 2024.  $94 per lift ticket, no age differential. Go to Bromley Mt website.  Order as many tickets as you want, they are good every day, NO Blackout dates.  When you get to checkout, put the discount code in – ADKSHOW25.  The tickets are non-refundable but are good any day until the entire season. 

Killington Mountain And Pico, Vermont

You must purchase your ticket online in advance of your visit.  One ticket per membership card.  You must show Club membership card with NYCDS Council sticker (get at any Club meeting) and photo ID. You purchase lift tickets at NYCDSC.org. On the main page is a link to Council Days 2024.  Just click on that to go to a listing of Mountains.  Follow directions. Once on the Killington site, scroll down for Pico lift tickets. 6% sales tax is in addition to lift ticket price.

Mon-Friday Mar 3-7 $108

Maple Ridge Ski Resort, Rotterdam, NY

Maple Ridge offers a $35 lift ticket Wed – Fri any week they are open.  Just show your Club membership card at time of purchase at the resort.  4 hour ticket 3-8 pm. Juniors need a Junior ID card. Seniors over 70 and children under 3 with paying adult are free.  Just ask at ticket desk for a ticket. Seniors must show ID for proof of age.

Sugarbush, Vermont

Sugarbush is not offering a Club discount but their “Best Deal” on sale now until December 2 is $99 for one ticket good any day and a bonus ticket good after  April 1.  The Club is running a bus in Jan and again in April to take advantage of this deal.

Stratton Mountain, Vermont

Stratton is offering Council Days any day during the season except holiday black out dates. Price is $99 weekdays and $135 Saturday and Sunday.  Tickets must be purchased 48 prior to visit.  Prepurchase at NYCDSC.org, on main page, click on Council Days 2024 and follow directions. Black out dates: Dec 26-31, Jan 18-19 MLK date, and Feb. 15-21.

Whiteface Mountain, Gore & Belleayre NY

Whiteface is on the Frequent Skier Card.  $59 gives you 50% off weekdays and 25% off weekends.  Purchase the card before Dec. 13 while supplies last.  This card is good at Belleayre, Gore and Whiteface.

Whiteface is also offering the following Council dates. Dec 8 & 9 $54, Feb 3 $54, Mar 7 $64, Mar 30 $62, Apr 4,5,6 $54   Purchase the tickets at the mountain.  RFID card required. Must show OC membership card and Photo ID card.  One lift ticket per card.  Junior needs Junior ID card. Gore and Belleayre have not listed those dates as 11/7/24.

Okemo And Mt Snow, Vermont

Okemo and Mt Snow are not offering Ski Club member discount days, however on the dates we go to these mountains, they have given us group discounts.  When signing up for the bus, there will be a separate link for you to access the Group Discount Price which you will buy directly from the mountain.  You do not need to ride the bus to get this discount.  You will need to show your Club membership card and one lift ticket per card.  RFID card is required.
