If there’s one activity in the summer that OC members enjoy almost as much as skiing in the winter, it’s paddling!
And since summertime in Upstate New York can sometimes feel incredibly short, we try to get out on the water with friends as much as possible.
When the weather is warm, club members often enjoy getting together for informal kayak and canoe outings to some of the region’s most beautiful rivers and lakes, including the New York Canal Water Trail, Battenkill River, Moose River and Cedar River, as well as many of the Fulton County and Essex Chain Lakes.
Be sure to check our Upcoming Events to see what's happening.
New coordinators are always welcomed!
If you're willing to lead a group paddle on your favorite lake or river, please contact us and we'll help you get it organized and promoted.
